ئومبێرتۆ ئیکو نووسەر و فەیلەسووفی ناوداری ئیتاڵی ئومبێرتۆ ئیکو وەرگێڕانی کتێبی «گوڵی سوور» بە زمانی ئینگلیزی ناوبانگێکی جیھانی بەو نووسەرە بەخشی. کتێبی «گوڵی سوور» ی ئیکو لە ساڵی ١٩٨٩ کرا بە فیلم.

تازەترین کتێبی ئیکو بەناوی "ساڵی سفر"-ە ئەو نووسەرو فەیلەسووفە ساڵانێکە بەھۆی نەخۆشی شێرپەنجەوە ئازار دەکێشێت. ئیکو، چەند کتێبێکی بۆ منداڵانیش نووسیوەو چەند کتێبێکیشی لە بواری ڕەخنەی ئەدەبی بڵاوکردووەتەوە. بڕوانامەی دکتۆرای لە زانکۆی تورینتۆ وەرگرتووەو لە زانکۆکانی میلان، فلۆرانس و بۆلۆنیا وانەی وتووەتەوە. ئەو نووسەرە لە کتێبێکی خۆ بە ناوی "ئیمان یا بێ ئیمانی" باسی ئاییبی مەسیحیش دەکات و ڕوانگەی لیبراڵی ئەو زۆربەی جار لەگەڵ ڕوانگەی فەرمی کڵێسای کاسۆلیک ناکۆک بوو.
