پلەی سێ- Company (کۆمەڵ (یەکەی سەربازی)) Size: 100–200 soldiers (3–5 platoons) Commanded by: Captain, پێشەنگ (پلەی سەربازی) Role: Independent in small operations, often forms the main tactical unit.

پلەی چوار- Battalion (تیپ) Size: 300–1,000 soldiers (4–6 companies) Commanded by: Lieutenant Colonel, پێشکار Role: The smallest unit capable of independent operations, with full administrative and logistical support.

پلەی پێنج- Regiment/Brigade (ھەنگ (سوپا)) (دەستە (یەکەی سەربازی)) Size: 2,000–5,000 soldiers (3–5 battalions) Commanded by: Colonel (Regiment, سەرھەنگ) or Brigadier General (Brigade, سەردەست) Role: Operates independently with its own support units. Regiments are more common in some countries, while others use brigades.

پلەی شەش- Division (دابەشکار (یەکەی سەربازی)) Size: 10,000–20,000 soldiers (3–4 brigades) Commanded by: Major General, سەربەش Role: Capable of major operations and sustained combat, with significant logistics and support.

پلەی حەوت- Corps (یەکینە) Size: 20,000–50,000 soldiers (2–4 divisions) Commanded by: Lieutenant General, سەردار Role: Large combat unit, typically controls divisions, with substantial support and logistical units.
