• Radio Daily was a trade journal for people in the radio broadcasting business. The publication produced an annual each year. Many performers and other radio professionals took ads in these annuals, with some electing to use photos in those ads.

• Cotsworth did not mark the ad as copyrighted; copyrights for The 1948 Radio Annual would not apply to the ad. (A check of periodical renewals for the years 1975 and 1976 indicate Radio Daily did not renew their copyright for this 1948 annual.

• There are no copyright marks on the ad.
