English: Task Force Marne Commanding General, Maj. Gen. Tony Cucolo, presents a 3rd Infantry Division pendant to a child of one of two fallen Peshmerga from the 2nd Battalion, 12th Brigade, Peshmerga Army, July 18, at Camp Zaytun, Erbil, Iraq. The Peshmerga, who were part of the Kurdish fighting forces, were killed in action, May 10, after they fired shots to prevent a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device from entering a combined checkpoint.
