English: Flag of the Movement for a Democratic Society (TEV-DEM) in Rojava. This is the official flag of Rojava (Western Kurdistan) since Kurds declared their self-autonomous region. This flag became more commonly used by Syrian Kurds than the usual "sun-emblazoned" flag of Kurdistan by 2013, along with the declaration of a de-facto autonomous Syrian Kurdistan.
