خیانەت بریتییە لە شکاندن یان پێشێلکردنی گرێبەستێکی گریمانەیی، متمانە، یان ئاسوودەیی، کە ململانێی ئەخلاقی و دەروونی لە چوارچێوەی پەیوەندی نێوان تاکەکاندا، لە نێوان ڕێکخراوەکاندا یان لە نێوان تاک و ڕێکخراوەکاندا بەرھەم دەھێنێت. زۆرجار خیانەت بریتییە لە کردەوەی پشتگیریکردن لە گرووپێکی ڕکابەر، یان پچڕانێکی تەواوە لەو ئاکارانەی پێشتر بڕیاری لەسەر دراوە یان پێشبینی کراون لەلایەن لایەنێکەوە لە لایەنەکانی تر. کەسێک کە خیانەت لە کەسانی تر دەکات بە شێوەیەکی باو بە خیانەتکار ناسراوە.
